Debasish Roychowdhury Inducted as Head – Legal, Skechers South Asia

Debasish Roychowdhury has been inducted as Senior General Manager and Head – Legal, Company Secretary and Compliance at Skechers South Asia Pvt Ltd.

Roychowdhury brings 23 years of leadership experience as General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary across the manufacturing, FMCG, beverages, consulting, IT/ITES, BFSI, GCC, fintech, retail and lifestyle sectors. His practice spans corporate governance, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk and ethics, data protection and privacy, ESG, cyber and technology law, AI governance, fintech and payments regulation, IPR strategy and employment law. He has also steered mandates on M&A, corporate restructuring, private equity and global investor engagements, FDI/FEMA structuring, RBI compounding, IPO readiness, SEBI/LODR compliance and large-scale fundraising.

He moves to Skechers after three and a half years as General Counsel at In-Solutions Global Ltd.

Roychowdhury is a 2017 graduate of Sarsuna Law College and holds an LLM in Corporate and Financial Law from Jindal Global Law School. He is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
